Welcome · 3:00 PM
Chuppah · 4:20 PM
Followed by a Shabbat dinner

THE PARTY:
SATURDAY OCTOBER 11
Dinner & Party at the Chop Shop
7:00 PM — VERY LATE
ATTIRE:
The ceremony on Friday will be at our new home, a natural, warm environment. A more "personal" spirit than "formal"; more ceremony than event; more creative than luxurious. Much of the evening will be outside. There is no specific dress code. Be comfortable. Attire can range from cocktail to formal. Please note: super high, sharp heels, most likely, will not fair the terrain well, but we will also provide high heel stoppers for grass. Please be sure you are comfortable and prepared for a crisp fall evening; ready to relax, celebrate and enjoy.
GIFTS:
The ultimate gift is that you all will be here to celebrate with us. We do not expect anything more than your presence and positive energy. If you are so inclined, Roni and I have decided that the best gift you can offer is a contribution to the Core City Beautification Fund.

During the course of the work in Core City, we have planted over 1,000 mature trees and created over 50,000 SF of beautified public spaces. With a lot more of both to come... We are converting the neighborhood into an urban woodland and public space with some very special private, architectural moments. Core City is where Roni and I spend most of our time and if you insist on a gift, we'd love for you all to contribute to the planting of trees and creation of public spaces in Core City.

A check can be made out to the "Core City Beautification Fund," or there is a link HERE.
VIEW RONI & PHILIP’S FULL DETROIT CITY GUIDE

For the Curious (and the Serious), an amazing guide
to Detroit, written by our dear friend Margo: Soul of Detroit – Guide to the Best Experiences
explore our neighborhood — cORE CITY, DETROIT
cORE CITY, DETROIT
As you spend the weekend with us, explore the streets of our neighborhood, Core City. Where we work, play, enjoy and create. Core City is the epicenter of Philip’s projects, the base for Roni’s studio and creative work and is one of the most exciting neighborhoods in America. It has become home to an special community of friends and collaborators. The idea: a special, spacious, quiet - but formerly full - neighborhood becomes a park, and within that park are special private spaces where people live, work, and enjoy. The Urbanism of Core City is singular, it has truly been a place that inspires us - an urban oasis. We hope you love it, too!
